The Scirocco is being launched with an impressive engine range. One variant is the 1.4 TSI with twincharger and a power output of 160 hp – especially when partnered by the fabulous 7-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox available as an option. At the top of the range is the 210 hp 2.0 TSI, which gives the Scirocco the ideal blend of power and fuel economy. Customers also have the choice of two 2.0 TDI engines delivering 140 hp and 170 hp and a 122 hp 1.4 TSI unit (Fuel consumption: 5.1 – 7.6 l/100 km; CO2 emissions: 134 - 179 g/km). Also available: an 1.4 TSI engine version with 122 hp and BlueMotion Technology.

One of the innovative extras that really go well with the Scirocco is the multifunction leather steering wheel with Tiptronic. In combination with the DSG dual-clutch gearbox, you can manually control the Scirocco’s fluid gear-changes with the steering wheel’s shift paddles and experience a true motor sport feeling. Relaxed open-road cruising or rapid hairpins? Just as you like adaptive chassis control DCC adjusts the suspension damping to perfectly suit the road and the driving situation. You retain a clear view ahead with the bi-xenon headlights, which combine the dipped and main beams in one functional unit, also integrating static cornering lighting and a separate daytime running light.
