2012 Hummer H4 CUV

A famous auto site mentioned that the Hummer H4 CUV will be produced in China in the near future. The memo said “Tengzhong will launch H3 and H4 CUV before 2012. Marketing Maintenance, and research center will not stop the Hummer,”.

If this is really going to happen then this info becomes good news for Hummer fans, especially fans H4 CUV. H4 CUV is the mass-production version of the Hummer HX concept car was first introduced in the arena 2008 North American International Auto Show.

Dodge Tomahawk

 2
This monster is power hungry, no doubt about that. This abomination of the road features an 8.3 liter V10 (505 cubic inches) that is capable of bringing a top speed of 420 mph! They estimate at 420 mph though no one has actually floored it they wouldn't be able to hold on. The bike weighs in at 1500 lbs, making it heavy enough to keep you intact at extreme speeds. The bike boasts independent 4 wheel suspension that will keep you safe on rougher terrain, and it’s shiny metallic cover which is accented by blue and red trim looks space like to say the least!
1
Are you obsessed with beating your friends off the starting line? Than I don’t think that you would have much to worry about on this bad-boy. This bike can reach 60 mph in about 2.5 seconds, so if I were you, I would secure my helmet.
q
1
Technically, this bike has four wheels, not two. So, with this in mind, some people do not actually consider it a motorcycle, but more of a glorified ATV. Whatever the case, the Dodge Tomahawk is a beast. A V10 super bike that looks like it has come straight out of a Batman movie. Is it worth the macho dollars on the tag though? Most say yes. Whatever the case, if you are one of the lucky individuals who get to own this bike, than rest assured that there is nothing in this world like a V10 rumbling beneath you…

2006 Peugeot 908 RC

The reason of a concept car is to explore new ideas and to test the ideas in an attempt to create the ultimate solution. Know-how and passion, combined with imagination, then become the motive force that turns the dream into reality. A dream that can be shared through the creation of a unique vehicle such as the Peugeot 908 RC.
 1
1
The 908 RC owes its name to its engine: the Peugeot V12 HDi DPFS, which will power the racing version of the 908 in 2007. The abbreviation 'RC', used to designate sports models in the Peugeot range, also refers to the RC and RC which made their appearance in 2002 and whose architecture served as an inspiration during the design of this innovative project.
1
The original idea was to create a limousine with an imposing style that offered its four occupants a new driving sensation. The fi nal design, however, is an uncompromising car that combines dynamic performance, comfort, luxury and environmental protection. In short, it is an exclusive four-door vehicle that will capture the imagination of both occupants and onlookers.

2009 Shelby Ultimate Aero

After holding the "World`s Fastest Production Car" title for the past year, the Shelby SuperCars` Ultimate Aero is receiving several refinements for the 2009 model year. The SSC engineering team equipped the 2009 Ultimate Aero with a 15% increase in horsepower, a revamped front fascia design, and an array of important interior upgrades. The most substantial change is an SSC-designed, 1-piece billet aluminum engine block. A milestone for the limited-production automobile manufacturer, the new block improves structural integrity and oiling capabilities allowing SSC to boost the power output to 1287 horsepower while improving durability.
 1
1
Armed with the more powerful new engine, the `09 Ultimate Aero will be able to reach world-record speeds of 270 MPH, raising the benchmark for supercars and pushing the limits of current production car technology. In order to accommodate the `09 Ultimate Aero`s unique fuel system requirements, SSC turned to American company Aeromotive to develop a flawless system. The aggressive nose is redesigned with enhanced aerodynamics to accommodate the 2009 Ultimate Aero`s higher top speed, and carbon fiber louvers on the side intakes draw in an additional 20% of air into the radiators for improved cooling. The improvement in overall performance will widen the already sizeable gap between the Ultimate Aero and its competitors.

1
The `09 Ultimate Aero also introduces the AeroBrakeTM a rear spoiler system that deploys under braking situations. Finished in carbon fiber, the rear spoilers actuate up an additional 8" when the brake pedal is depressed. The speed of the spoiler actuation is set by the amount of brake pedal pressure. The complete AeroBrakeTM system can be disabled by the push of a button, for town driving or situations where braking and downforce assistance are not necessary.

Rounding out the `09 Ultimate Aero`s improvements is a revamped interior. A redesigned dash prominently displays sleek, exposed carbon fiber dash halves and inset air vents. Carbon fiber accents run along the doorsills, surround the new gauge cluster, and continue onto a revised steering column, which includes an analog speedometer and tachometer with a sequential shift light integrated into the tachometer needle.

The new center console incorporates a digital temperature control unit and tire pressure monitor along with an Azentek PC base Infotainment unit. The revolutionary Azentek unit offers all the capabilities of a PC and processes SSC`s onboard diagnostic software.End of Shelby Supercars SSC Ultimate Aero review.

Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Gullwing

The successor to the Mercedes Benz SL Gullwing has been spotted in prototype form in and around Germany’s Nurburgring test circuit for several months now, but what only a select few knew is that the car is being developed completely in-house by Mercedes’ official tuner, AMG. Thus, the brand new model will be called the SLS AMG when it hits showrooms in the first half of next year.

In the lead up to its final unveiling, planned for later this year, Mercedes has released a ton of info on the car, including several images of actual prototypes and technical drawings. As the successor to the legendary SL Gullwing from the 1950s, the new SLS AMG will also feature gullwing doors but picks up a new aluminum spaceframe to provide an almost perfect front-to-rear weight distribution of 48-to-52%.

Powering the SLS will be a revised version of AMG’s now-familiar 6.2L V8 mated to an all-new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission mounted on the rear axle. Peak output will stand at 571hp (420kW) and 479lb-ft (650Nm) of torque. Changes to the engine include a new magnesium intake with eight separate velocity stacks, two electronically controlled throttle plates, a high-flow exhaust and a new dry-sump lubrication system.

Peak output will stand at 571hp (420kW) and 479lb-ft (650Nm) of torque. Changes to the engine include a new magnesium intake with eight separate velocity stacks, two electronically controlled throttle plates, a high-flow exhaust and a new dry-sump lubrication system.

The engine will be located up front but will be mounted behind the front axle for better weight distribution. The SLS’s final kerb weight will be around 1,620kg, and with the V8 engine it should be able to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed in excess of 315km/h.

As for the new dual-clutch gearbox, the unit was developed by AMG and boasts fast gear changes with no loss of tractive force. The driver has a choice of four different driving modes, ranging from comfortable to extremely sporty, as well as a ‘RACESTART’ function. The suspension set-up is equally advanced, with double wishbones and hub carriers made of lightweight forged aluminum. Stopping power comes from carbon-ceramic discs, and these are mounted within 19in light-alloy wheels.

The car’s dimensions have also been revealed, measuring in at 4.65m in length, 1.95m across and just 1.25m in height. The wheelbase stretches just 2.7m. Previous renderings give us a clue as to what the new car could look like, showing a vented bonnet and a new headlight design not seen on any previous Mercedes models.

Furthermore, new shots of the interior show a familiar Mercedes steering wheel and a unique dash fitted with silver accented controls similar to that used in the current SLR supercar. Another interesting feature is the retro styled air-vents, which look similar to the units used by Mercedes Benz during the 1970s. The COMAND system knob located on the center console is also identical to the units used by other Mercedes models.

1
Premium materials abound on every surface, with materials such as nappa leather, solid metal and (optional) carbon-fiber facings emphasizing the ‘custom-built’ nature of the car. Seating will be strictly limited to two.

The price of the SLS is expected to be roughly $300,000 with production numbers likely to fall between 3,000 and 5,000 units per year. This should see it compete nicely with cars like the Lamborghini Gallardo and Ferrari F430.

2009 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo

`
Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo will be the star of the all-new race series launched in 2009 by Automobili Lamborghini the world’s fastest one make series. In May 2009, the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo takes to the track with its first race. By the end of October, it will have completed 18 races on famous European circuits, supporting popular series like the Deutsche Tourenwagen-Meisterschaft (DTM), the FIA GT Series and the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). To participate, the factory is offering its customers an exclusive sports machine – the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo with 419 kW (570 hp), a reworked chassis and significantly reduced weight.
`

`
The Super Trofeo is the only one make series in the motorsport world to feature cars with all-wheel drive. And it is Lamborghini’s clear objective to ensure that it will be the fastest single brand series in the world partly due to the technical superiority of the all-wheel drive principle. From May the Super Trofeo will make guest appearances at six race events at Silverstone (UK), on the Adria Raceway (Italy), on the Norisring (Germany), in Spa (Belgium), in Barcelona (Spain) and in Monza (Italy).
`
`
`
Lamborghini is building 30 cars for the Super Trofeo, which they are making available to individual enthusiasts, as well as to Lamborghini dealer teams. The factory will enter one car for itself, and plans to commission well-known guest drivers to take the wheel. And on the edge of the racing action, the Super Trofeo Village hospitality venue will be available.

The Super Trofeo race car is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, powered by the new 5.2 litre V10 with direct fuel injection (IDS), generating an increased output of 419 kW (570 hp). Its power flows through the e.gear six-speed robotized gear box to the permanent all-wheel drive with viscous traction – the kind of power transmission perfectly suited to motorsport.
`
1
The Super Trofeo is a top-class race car in every detail. Its chassis, featuring double wishbone suspension all round, has been reworked specifically for the purpose. The competition tyres are supplied by Pirelli and a specialist racing brake system provides brutal stopping power with racing ABS. Additional body components such as the large, fixed rear wing are made from carbon-fibre composite. The cockpit hosts an ultra-light race seat, a racing steering wheel and additional specialized racing instruments.

1999 Lamborghini Diablo GT

In 1999, Lamborghini fans got a pleasant surprise when the Diablo GT was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. It combined the modifications of the GT2 race car with the outrageousness of the Diablo to offer serious road racing performance. So much so, it remains as the fastest road-going Diablo ever made by the factory. At the time of delivery in September 1999, the Diablo GT was also one of the fastest supercars as well, reaching a top speed of 215 mph (346 kph).

What set the GT apart from the Diablos before it was a comprehensive list of upgrades which included a larger V12 engine and a radical carbon fibre body. This meant the GT was lighter, faster and had better road-handling than all other Diablos.
`
Much of the GT's diet can be attributed to its extensive use of composite materials including bodywork fabricated almost completely of carbon fibre. The only non-composite panels were the steel roof and aluminum doors.

Particularly distinct was the front bodywork which accommodated a wider track, brake cooling ducts and a front-mounted oil cooler. Air entered the oil cooler from the very front of the car and exited via an extractor atop the bonnet. A large engine scoop also sat atop the engine cover feeding the V12 with fresh air. Unlike the SV, airflow for this scoop was dynamically controlled by the on-board computer.
Paramount to the exclusive peroformance of the GT was the larger engine which used a 4mm longer stroke to add 5% more displacement. With a new individually throated intake system, a reworked exhaust, titanium connecting rods and lighter crankshaft, 25 additional horsepower was realized.

Inside, the GT was appointed heavily with carbon fibre and leather. Each came standard with racing seats, four-point seat belts and amenities such as air conditioning and power windows. An optional wing-mounted camera system was available to assist with parking.

Only 80 examples of the GT were constructed, each in either orange, titan-silver, black or yellow bodywork. Depending on the customer's use, each came with custom ratios, the longest of which offered a top speed of 215 mph.

Top 10 Fast & Furious Cars

Apparently there’s still gas in the tank for the The Fast and the Furious franchise. Fast & Furious, the fourth installment, lived up to its name, at least from a box office perspective, quickly separating moviegoers from $72.5 million of their money. That not only marks the highest rossing car themed flick opener (2006’s Cars was $60.1 million), it’s also the biggest April debut ever (2003’s painful Anger Management brought $42.2 million).
`

Don’t credit plot depth, fine acting or a profound script for filling the seats. It was and always has been the Fast & Furious cars. Like a certain other film genre that indulges our proclivities, you’re better off skipping the dialogue and focusing on the action. Here are some of our favorite performers, the top 10 Fast & Furious cars. So we'll start with No.10:
`
No.10 - 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift)

It looks hot and won the race against a Nissan 350Z in the “honour race” through the mountains. But as the story goes, it was with Nissan power. Granted, the engine came from a Silvia (240SX to us), but this degree of East-meets-West went too far for pony car enthusiasts. Yes, we realize it was all make believe, but even the simulation of such heresy puts this car at the back of the bunch.
`

No.9 - 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse (The Fast and the Furious)

Brian O’Connor’s (Paul Walker) addition of nitrous to his Eclipse put it on the fast track to become an early casualty in the first movie, but the Eclipse lived on as a go-to car for tuners, and for good reason. Cars like this second-generation model were inherently styled well as a basis for body kits, while their engines were a decent platform for modification to a degree.

No.8 - 1987 Buick Grand National GNX (Fast & Furious)

Ordinarily, the idea of watching V6 Buicks on the big screen is about as stirring as listening to Buick owners blather about their arthritis. In Fast & Furious, however, Dominic Toretto has graduated from his Civic and uses this as his hijacking weapon of choice. It’s not just the rare, Regal-based Grand National, but the even-scarcer ’87-only GNX. This high point in modern GM performance finds a blurred Buick the result of speed, not cataracts.

`
No.7 - 1997 Mazda RX-7 (The Fast and the Furious)

Tokyo Drift Tough call here: Was the RX-7 good enough on its own or did the body kit on Han’s car totally complete the look? It’s not at all an easy decision. The final and arguably best-looking RX-7 only came to the U.S. from 1993 to 1995; the Japanese market enjoyed the full run of the last generation from 1992 to 2002.

`
No.6 - 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko (2 Fast 2 Furious)

To non-car guys, a jumping Yenko sounds like a circus act, but in 2 Fast 2 Furious it was a handy way for Brian O’Connor to board a yacht. It caused damage you can’t just buff out, but it did save Monica Fuentes. Wasting a rare muscle car to save Eva Mendes’ character? That’s a considerable yet reasonable price to pay. In reality, even if you could find a guy willing to part with his genuine Yenko (there are plenty of clones), you would have to bring Eva along for negotiations.

`
No.5 - 1995 Honda Civic (The Fast and the Furious)

In the real world, the Civic’s ability to intimidate semis is highly suspect, even with Dominic Toretto aboard. But then, its influence on the tuner scene is even greater than its showing on our review. Cars like this fifth-generation coupe have the gone-but-not-forgotten double wishbone suspension and were ridiculously easy to modify for stupefying horsepower. Today’s car makes a stronger visual statement out of the box, but earlier Civics like this made up for it with their potential.

`
No.4 - 1995 Volkswagen Jetta (The Fast and the Furious)

Jesse and his white V-Dub don’t get a ton of time onscreen in the original movie, but we’re including the Jetta for a couple reasons. First, it’s one of the few European cars seen in the series. Second, it’s a solid choice for enthusiasts. Without any modifications, a stock Jetta offers acceptable performance and crisp handling; both traits are easily enhanced to meet tuners’ demands without as much effort or compromise as some more popular Asian and American cars.

`
No.3 - 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R  (2 Fast 2 Furious)

Admit it. You have a Skyline fetish and so does Brian O’Connor. It’s cool, that’s why we have no problem whatsoever with the frequency of these cars’ appearances in the series. The new, America-friendly Nissan GT-R is brilliant, but there will always be a mystique surrounding the all-but-inaccessible predecessor. There’s nothing wrong with the blue model in Fast & Furious, but there’s really nothing wrong with the silver car in 2 Fast 2 Furious.

No.2 - 1970 Dodge Charger (The Fast and the Furious, Fast & Furious )

You remember how you got all verklempt at the end of The Fast and the Furious when Dominic’s Charger met its doom? So this couldn’t possibly be the same car in Fast & Furious, right? Well, this is Hollywood, pal. If Vin Diesel can land speaking roles, shredded vintage Chargers can play Lazarus. Besides, the car is like the franchise: It’s been rebuilt and updated for another spin, but the first look was the best of the lot and the one worth remembering.

 `
No.1 - 1995 Toyota Supra Turbo (2 Fast 2 Furious)

The best ever street car produced by Japan. It spanked a Ferrari. It raced a Charger to its doom. It’s a nitrous ortified orange crush of a Toyota Supra. Although this car got more than a little face time in the first movie (how could you miss it?), the last and fastest Supra could be considered the best, just like the final RX-7 mentioned earlier. And like the Mazda, America had shorter exposure to this generation, available here from 1993 to 1998, but it sold in Japan through 2002. Sadly, Toyota’s enthusiasm for performance hasn’t been the same since.

Bugatti Veyron Vs McLaren F1

It's a fantasy race spawning tens-of-thousands of auto fan-boy arguments: Which super car wins in a balls-out drag race - the Bugatti Veyron or the McLaren F1? Top Gear found out last night. Now it's our turn below.

Behind the wheel of the 1001 horsepower Bugatti Veyron: Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond.  Behind the wheel of the 627 horsepower McLaren F1: The Stig.  The race took place on a very dry, closed stretch of road in Abu Dhabi. If you just look at the power figures, you might think that the Veyron would outright crush the F1.  However, the F1 weighs significantly less than the Veyron, roughly 1651 lbs. (749 kg)

So which wins? the 1001 HP Bugatti Veyron with all the techie bells and whistles? Or the 627 HP McLaren F1 thanks to a 1,500 lb lower weight?

2010 Porsche 911 GT3

Stronger, wider, faster – the new version of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup offers its many customers the world over even greater value than ever before. The successor to the best-selling racing car of all time built in a production series of more than 1,400 units is based for the first time on the 911 GT3 RS, with the weight of the racing model reduced significantly versus the lightweight road-going version. This is the first GT3 Cup to feature the 44-millimetre (1.73') wider body at the rear, providing sufficient space for even larger wheels.

Wider wheel arches also at the front clearly show that the front wheels are likewise new. Engine capacity is up by 0.2 litres over the former model, engine output is 30 bhp more than before.
`
The most important facts and figures: 3.8-litre six-cylinder horizontally-opposed power unit developing 450 bhp (331 kW), sequential six-speed manual gearbox, weight 1,200 kg (2,646 lb), racing version of the 911 GT3 RS. The new GT3 Cup is clearly recognizable at very first sight through the special looks and design of the front end.
`
The striking daytime driving lights come straight from the current generation of the 911, the front body panels are the same as on the 911 GT3 RS. The front spoiler lip is however 15 millimeters or almost 0.6' lower to provide significantly more down force on the front. Downforce on the rear axle is also increased by the rear wing extended in width from 1.46 to 1.70 metres (57.5 to 66.9') and fitted higher up as a feature carried over from the even faster 911 GT3 Cup S in international FIA GT3 racing. The rear air dam with its striking air vent openings as well as the rear lights in LED technology, in turn, come straight from the road model.

Nissan GT-R in Srilanka

Finally a Nissan GT-R came to Sri lanka. This GT-R was brought here by a person in Sri lanka by giving a massive amount specially for tax. If you see the prices of vehicles in Sri lanka, there is a huge different than Sri Lanka in outer countries. Its because of a reason and it is the tax.
